St. Pats Font

The Maple Leafs reached out to our Identity group and asked for a font based off of the “St. Pats” crest/uniform which the team will be wearing against the Chicago Blackhawks on March 18, 2017. The Maple Leafs were known as the St. Pats from 1919-1927. The challenge was to create letter forms that felt like they went along with the crest but still had the feel of a font that’s close to 100 years old.
