Blue Jackets Score: February 19, 2017

Game 58 / Check out the whole project here

Game Highlights:
-Even though the Predators scored just over 2 minutes into the game, the Jackets definitely dominated the rest of the period when it came to shots. With a tally of 19-7 in favor of the CBJ it seemed crazy that not one hit the back of the net.
-The reason for this came mostly because of Nashville’s young goalie: Saros. He kept the Jackets off the board for the first 30 minutes of play and never let them take the lead, which ultimately led to a loss for Columbus.
-When the Jackets did finally score it was off a Saad redirect from Jones (making it Saad’s first goal in a 9 game scoring drought)
-Fast forward past a horrible pass from Wenberg that turned into a Nashville breakaway goal and Alexander semi-redeemed himself with an assist on each of the next two CBJ goals.
-Coming up on half way through the third period and we were all tied up 3-3. That was until once again the Predators flung one past Bob and we just couldn’t muster enough to tie it again.
-In player specific news: Werenski had a career-high three points this game and Ryan Johansen played at Nationwide for the first time since being traded for Jones in January 2016.
