Alien Rig

Hey Dribbble! Turns out I haven't posted in a while...

This weird, alien fellow is a work in progress... but since it's my brother's birthday, and he originally drew this, I figured: Why not share it?

I took his art, cut it apart, got it all vector-y, then rigged it with After Effects (using Joysticks and Sliders). The trickiest part was getting the mouth to animate through a few phonemes *while* the head turns...

Hopefully I can tweak it further sometime soon; I'm toying with the idea of using it into a longer piece...
