O is for Osaka Tigers

The Osaka Tigers are one of Japan’s largest professional clubs. Now known as the Hanshin Tigers, the team has 4 Japanese Baseball League titles since their inception in 1935. The Tigers have not won a championship in their new league, since 1985. This drought is thought to be brought on by a baseball curse attributed to a statue of Colonel Sanders, the KFC mascot.
