Design for Pixels

Initial pass at a new logo. The large script D is traced from a hand-written letter. I'm working in black and white first to get the details, then I'll play with color. The big script D feels like it's needs something, but I can't quite figure out what... Any suggestions on nuance or color would be welcome - thanks!
