Pop-ups remind me of the that desperate guy from madTV. They seem to be screaming: 'What's yo number. Can I haaaave it.'

If you want to overtake a user's screen and ask for contact info... you better be style'n. Matter' of fact: you better make them want to read your shitty email. How do you make people want to read your paragraphs of subtle marketing on a regular basis? It's all about humor.
