New Personal Logo

I've drawn a new logo for my illustration & design business. I started with ink drawings, scanned them at a very high resolution, and refined the points and curves in Illustrator. Then I hemmed and hawed for a while, showed friends, and picked at it bit by bit until I couldn't stand doing that any more. The concept was inspired by some old (19th c.) woodtype dropcaps featuring silhouettes of folks doing things. It felt like a nice evolution from my old logo, which was my profile in silhouette.
