OntarioWorks Wayfinding Tool

Currently, the process for Ontario Works (OW) clients to access programming is almost completely dependent on the client’s caseworker. My team proposed to empower clients to take an active role in their case plan through the creation of an interactive application that will look at what programs may be suitable for the client based on the client’s interests, skills, and personal attributes. Creating a more engaging and client-centred process will hopefully result in improved success rates, better program development, and more time for caseworkers to work on other important tasks.
