Blue Jackets Score: February 4, 2017

Game 51 / Check out the whole project here

Game Highlights:
-Mark this as the second time in a row that the Jackets let their opponents score first and take a multi-goal lead before we even get on the board.
-A lot of issues came from simply not being able to get our legs going at the same time. The first and second period looked like a first-time scrimmage between new teammates. Pucks weren't connecting with sticks and we could hardly get in the Devils' zone on our 2 power plays.
-There was a moment when we thought we would close the gap with a Jenner goal early in the 3rd, but after review it was revoked for goalie interference and NJ continued to score again.
-Calvert got a short handed goal in the 3rd but the boost of energy wasn't enough. When we pulled Bob to try and set up a 6 on 5 situation we broke the play and Taylor Hall got an empty netter in (and his second goal of the game). Plus the Devils got a 5th goal in during the last minute of play, so womp womp.
-The Columbus Dispatch reported that the Blue Jackets' TV ratings are up 110 percent from last season at this time
