Evolution of a Flag Icon

4 icons from a branding project I worked on a couple years ago. Ultimately this concept never got used, but we went through several iterations of flags trying to get the right look. It started as a hand-drawn etching effect concept, but later evolved to be a more crisp, simple flag. My favorites are the two in the middle.
