X is for Xalapa Chileros

The Chileros de Xalapa compete in the Veracruz Winter League.
The Chileros go back to the 50s. In '55 they signed an affiliate agreement with the New York Giants baseball club. The Chileros have had a few notable names play under their name, but none more notable than Roberto "Beto" Avila who went on to be the '54 AL batting champion and earn a spot in the World Series.
