I went back to this and re-did some of the elements like:
- The nav bar
- the nav bar buttons
- minor tweaks to the sidebar
- tweaked the shadows throughout
to better match the designs I'm working on so all products feel like they are coming from the same company.

This has two advantages:
- Reusable elements (code, layout and markup) throughout all of your projects.
- Easier customization to fit the requirements for a particular project.

We've also started designing on a smaller artboard for the web: 1280x800px. This seems to be a common size of browser windows across platforms and monitor resolutions. This gives us a better idea how the end-user will use it even if we design on 1440p or 4K displays.

PS: I totally suck at writing copy for interfaces :P
