Hey!

It is a month already since I posted my first doodle here. I definitely like it so I will go on whatever it takes. I wish I had more time for animations, but after a month I can already say that I'm getting better with After Effects and can do things faster, so i hope more GIF's is yet to come. Unfortunately, my keyboard died, and now i use some epic Microsoft shit with completely useless layout and it slows me down.

Okay, here's the word for today, and another similarity between Karelian and Japanese. Two words to be honest.

日 — this is kanji for 'Sun' which also means 'Day' in Japanese. Karelian for 'Sun' is 'päiväine' and the 'day' is 'päivy' and these two have the same radical. Moreover, the 'Moon' and the 'Month' is written with the same kanji symbol — 月. The same thing works for Karelian. The word for both month and moon is 'Kuu'. So both languages use the same logic — once a day it's new sun, and a new moon once a month. Pretty obvious.

Kaos — Around in Circles

PS: It's a nice ending of January, but I want improve my skills month by month so I think about to post something really big at the end of each upcoming month. Code something maybe. Share your thoughts, please. I appreciate you feedback.
