Womens March

I made this banner for the Women's March. I took the phrase from a Suffragettes banner I saw in the Brooklyn Museum last year.

After I had finished the flag, I began looking into the Suffrage Movement and the march in 1913. These women do not represent the intersectional feminism that we are fighting for today. I decided to still carry this banner with the burden and understanding that we still have a VERY long way to go, and that white femmes can't only show up for themselves. If anyone is marginalized, we are all marginalized.
