-After our last game losing to the Senators, we also fell from first place in the NHL with Washington stepping up
-The first period was owned by the CBJ with 2 goals, but the second belonged to the Canes and they also scored 2 goals in a row tying it up
-This is the 42nd time that Scott Hartnell has had 2 goals and not gotten a hat trick
-Matt Calvert was a healthy scratch and Markus Hännikäinen was played instead (and he got the first NHL goal)
-The game was largely affected by unnecessary holding and hooking penalties by the Jackets
