Minimal Magazine Cover

So created this minimal magzine cover. it wasn't used though but I still like it very much.

It gets really hard for me when I like a piece of work but the clients just plain reject it. However, work is work and ultimately it's the client who have to decide.

In case of UI/UX design, it's a question of logic, requirement and usablilty, but print it's all about the asthetic looks. Design (non-interactive) is a super subjective and it's sad when clients don't share your way of design.

how do you guys handle that?
