Rejected fragmet

I drew this ages ago in Adobe Illustrator when I started to think about a new design for my blog. It was my attempt to create an eye-catchy header. A bit later I completely rejected the whole design even though I spend an afternoon creating this colourful creation. I drew this line by line directly in this curvy shape in case you're wondering… I didn't use any special effect or plugin etc. (not even the 'Make with Warp' distort option) to create the curviness. It's me and my pen tool having full control over the paths :)
