Illustrated Decorative 'G'
I took one of my old hand-rendered illustrations and vectorized the entire thing for a study of digital art. (Based off of work by David Adrian Smith)
Started out creating vectors in Illustrator and then finished it up in Photoshop where I applied textures, masks, and painted in some highlights and shadows to really make it pop.
To create an appealing final-presentation I used a program called LiveSurface Context that allows you to quickly render your work on "real life" surfaces.
