Calisthenics logo

International Calisthenics Academy is a team of passionate athletes and trainers, dedicated to revive the ancient Greek training system.

Drawing inspiration from the birthplace of the Calisthenics movement, we combined the depictions on greek ancient vases with the characteristic handstand position of a Calisthenic athlete—in an execution inspired by the minimal smooth lines of Cycladic culture and its iconic figurines. A geometric font with raw cuts and contrasts between its characters has been customised and adapted to match logomark while the bold orange-black color combination from the ancient vases, unifies all the elements of the logo offering the holistic effect that the client was looking for.
