The Space Race

Our journey into space all started in the 60's. Here's a part of a little tribute I've been working on for the Apollo missions.

Full attached.

Some space facts that blew my mind along the way:

- There may be 20 trillion galaxies in the Universe.
- According to the best estimates of astronomers, 275 million new stars are born every single day.
- Current estimates suggest there are up to 400 billion stars in the Milky Way Galaxy and up to 50 billion planets. If even 1% of those are in the Goldilocks zone, then there are 500 million planets in our galaxy alone capable of supporting life.
- There are more suns in our Galaxy then there are grains of sand on the earth.
- The Milky Way galaxy we live in: is one among the BILLIONS in space.
