Captain America Logo

I decided to challenge myself for a bit of fun. Create a logo for a superhero in half an hour. This is not a comic book title, but an idea for a brand, if Captain America were to have one in the Marvel Universe.

I gave myself fifteen minutes to sketch ideas and fifteen minutes to execute. The idea I used here was the last one I sketched before the first timer dinged, so it came out just in time.

After I was satisfied with the main execution I had a minute to pick some colors, so I went with, naturally, red and blue, but I moved them more toward violet to symbolize the hope that America can come back together someday.
