DLC004 - Faulkner and Co. (Post Meridiana) Part 1

This is part one of today's daily logo challenge, which was to create a logo out of a single letter. This was the initial "F" design for a made up steel manufacturing company called Faulkner and Co.

I ended up expanding the logo to include a wordmark and created a cool look that I wanted to post as well, which you can see here.
