Game 30 / Check out the whole project here

THAT'S 10 BABY! Last night's win against the LA Kings marks a franchise record: the most wins in a row. It wasn't easy, but I think Columbus is proud it happened on home ice. Scoring didn't start until period 1 when Cam Atkinson made a goal off Dub's one-handed pass from behind the net. Then it was a bit of a ping pong match between Atkinson scoring and Jeff Carter from the Kings. Each ended regulation with 2 goals apiece. This was followed by a nailbiting 5 mins of OT where the Kings continued to bombard McElhinney with shots (he blocked 44 of them like a champ) but still no score. It was all down to a shootout. Our chances of extending a 9 game streak and making a new franchise record rested in the gloves of Big Mac - and man did he come through! After Gagner and Atkinson put 2 in the Kings' net McElhinney only letting 1 of 3 through. Que the cannon.

Game Highlights:
-10 win franchise record (duh)
-CBJ is still in 3rd in the Metropolitan division, but only behind 1st by 1 point
-Up until last The Jackets had outshot their opponents in 12 of the past 14 games
