The Power of Love

A Hanukkah present for my brother. It was originally designed as a tattoo for him but at the last second he changed his mind and went with a simpler design. But he kept telling me how much he liked the illustration so I decided to take a trip to my local maker space and make him some wall art using a CNC router.

There's a lot of character here that I love -- you don't get surprised as often working with pixels. Working with plywood as opposed to solid stock gives the cut a neat layered effect and cutting down into the layers reveals unforeseen knots and patterns. I'll definitely have to do more projects like this in the future.
