iOS alarm clock icon redesign

A long overdue whole app refresh on my first iPhone app design ever.

It appears most app icons extrude from the screen, and I wanted to carve into the homescreen with an icon for once.

Tried putting a gloss over the app to show a plastic window that was flush with the background. Ultimately, I dropped the screen reflection as the I just couldn't translate the idea into the image.
