Socialism 2016 Poster

For my graphic design final project, I was asked to choose a real conference that deals with issues outside the US to design a brochure with a fold out poster for. I chose the Socialism 2016 conference in Chicago, and drew inspiration from Avant Gard typography movements like Constructivism and Dada to communicate the radical nature of the conference.

For the title, I decided to cut the letters out of paper and scan them because I wanted them to be somewhat imprecise to make the artist's hand show through, echoing the working-class nature of socialism.
