Ryan And James Go West

Hello dribbble world. Been awhile. No excuses, I haven't been posting on here as much as I probably should be. Looking to change that very soon.

This is a personal project that I am very much looking forward to. Back in October, my buddy James Inigo and I took off from our home in Marquette, MI and decided to take a massive road trip out west. The end goal was to get James back to his family home California.

Over the span of 2 weeks, we traveled across 10 states and stopped at many places along the way such as the Badlands, Yellowstone, Mount Rushmore, Zion National Park, Las Vegas, and then wrapped up the trip exploring SoCal for a few days. This was a huge trip for me as the farthest out west I had ever been before this trip was Missouri.

This is the first variation I came up with. The gold path represents our route we took (Lots of retracing our steps through google maps.) Though I like how this one turned out, I think I will experiment a bit more before deciding on a final logo. Looking to include an infographic, icon set, and a Wordpress blog with all of this. Definitely more to come in the future.
