YOURS - School's Student Newspaper Design

I've taken out some time from my holiday to work on a project that some of us students at school are working on.

YOURS is a newsletter which is purposed to convey the student voice without censoring by teachers, and other paid school staff.

I was asked to create a style which could be used fortnightly and was flexible enough to allow an evolution that could keep readers engaged, while allowing for writers to convey all their messages.

The solution? Use clean and minimal fonts and layouts with lots of whitespace, in which new elements can be added, and others removed. Use of lots of imagery (supplemented by the wealth of photographers in the school) also can be used to keep engagement high.

I'm excited to see how this design evolves through the year.
