Paula Cooper - Woods

Part of a series of more than a couple dozen illustrations for a story about Paula Cooper, the youngest woman sentenced to death in the U.S. This is one of those illustrations representing the abusive childhood Paula received at the hands of her father. He sometimes took her to the woods so that no one could hear her while he beat her.
