I was actually just working on this concept for a clinical communications company. I haven't gotten out of wires yet so the deliverables are quite as sexy but design isn't just about the way something looks.

Anyway this app is a secure communications channel for clinical staff around the hospital. Each device is property of the institution as well, that way we can avoid storing patient data on personal devices. It's a straight forward SMS application with the ability to Broadcast emergencies to all users connected. The broadcasts are essentially group texts with the ability to respond directly disabled.
