Beam Geeks logo

Working up a logo mockup for a laser cutting and engraving business that goes by the name Beam Geeks. This is just a cheesy mockup I picked up online, but it works well for the concept. Thoughts or suggestions? There's obviously a little perspective on this, as normally it should be squared off to form a 90 degree angle on the lower right.
