Saad scored first just a hair under 5 mins in, and Foligno completed a beautiful 3 on 1 break to finish P1 with a strong 2 goal lead over the Avalanche. It was a nice way to start the away game. But the second did not prove as fruitful. Colorado found a way to tie the game up heading into the final period. The second shot being almost undetectable to a screened Bobrovsky. Luckily the Avalanche got the best of themselves and a 3rd period goal on their part was waved off due to a high-sticking call. The Jackets answered this opportunity through the glorious efforts of Dubs, Atkinson and Jenner, who was credited with the game-winning goal.
