History (Lamborghini Website Re-Design)

Hello Folks

Recently we decided to re-design Lamborghini website (Visual + UX). Fact is we don't like how they represented their brand value on current website. Just because we are fan of this brand :3 we think the website could be better then current one. Here is History + Logo Meaning.

History of Lamborghini
The history of ‘Lamborghini Automobili’ officially starts in 1963. Nevertheless, we must consider the far-off roots of this event, and they are the roots of Ferruccio Lamborghini. Born in 1916, this capable, impetuous, strong-willed Taurus was the leading character in the foundation of the company and the early phases of its extraordinary history.

Meaning of Lamborghini Logo
The Lamborghini logo shows a bull or Taurus that is the brand founder’s zodiac sign. Ferruccio Lamborghini was extremely interested in Spanish bullfighting sport that is also shown in the logo. Bullfighting is the main part of Lamborghini’s style. Furthermore many Lamborghini cars are called as famous bulls. Ferruccio Lamborghini is usually accused of logo’s similarity to Ferrari’s logo. It was not considered to be an accident from Ferruccio, who had a lingering rivalry with Ferrari.
This logo is connected with Lamborghini’s interest for fighting bulls. The interest’s history goes far in 1962 when Ferruccio Lamborghini had come to the Seville farm of famous Eduardo Miura, a Spanish who was a well-known breeder of Spanish brutal fighting bulls.
