History of Leadership - The Born Leader

Part of an effort to revise and expand NationBuilder.com’s “Vision” section, the History of Leadership page was just begging for some illustrations to highlight the various iterations of leadership through time.

This illustration of “the born leader”, a [male] baby with a crown floating on a sparkly cloud, is a reference to the earliest theories on leadership which propose that leadership is a quality you’re born with. It cannot be learned or discovered, and is not inherent in the human condition.
