Yale Symphony Orchestra, Three Viennese Bees
The Yale Symphony Orchestra began its 51st season with two concerts, for which I was commissioned to design posters and programs. The November concert, titled "Three Viennese Bees" features the work of three Austrian composers: Beethoven, Berg, and Brahms. Earlier versions of the poster more strongly evoked the Austrian flag, but that element was abstracted away until present just in the waviness in the typography.
