Designer/developer collaboration app
So I’ve been running through ideas in my head for some sort of designer/developer collaboration product for a while now. Primarily, when working with developers who might be offshore, communication can be that little bit more tricky than if you're lucky enough to be sitting next to your devs.
Although we have excellent apps like InVision, Zeplin, Skype etc... I still think we could do with some sort of application to help us get better.
The key is to improve communication, relationships, and organisational skills, which in turn will ultimately result in shipping an excellent product that everyone is proud of.
I’m thinking of some sort of hub which can help, assist and organise everything you and your developer would need to in order to implement your product or feature. This “hub” would need features such as: project organisation, live design walkthroughs, screenshot and video capabilities, and even a resource center for your prototypes; design specs; and other assets your developer may need.
This design concept is just a shot in the dark and could be worth delving more deeply into.
