Mazzola Bakery

I love my Brooklyn neighborhood and I have been frequenting this bakery since the 90s and have become friendly with the owners. They never had a proper logo designed and relied on their vendors to create their branding. which resulted in a mish-mash of fonts, colors, etc. The bakery illustration was done by their grandfather in the 1920's and there was no way I was going to mess that part of their history and was my inspiration for the custom type below. I think that the 2 play well together and will stand the test of time. Next up are business cards and shopping bags.
