Blueprints for 7' tree in my daughter's room

I've never done a project like this before, but I'm going to try to carve a tree (with secret door at the base) for our daughter's new "big girl room." I'm matching it to the some parts of the pattern on her quilt. The stack of objects on the right and left will be the leaves.
