Jorōgumo Spider Woman

Watch out for this lady, the Jorōgumo’s favorite prey is young, handsome men who are looking for love and it doesn't end well.

Another piece for the Hyakki Yagyo: Night Parade of 100 Demons show at Northern Contemporary. I started by inking everything in black on white paper and then scanning and reversing each piece in the computer, picking and choosing some elements to revert to black on white. It was a really interesting process that I hope to experiment again with soon. More on here.
