2D squid tentacles experiment in AE

Just an experiment aiming to try out some new technics in AfterEffects.
Here, I used a simple expression selector to make the double dots characters (in a text layer) decrease progressively in scale and achieve this "taper" effect.
The tapered bodies of each tentacle are achieved with the "3D Stroke" plugin from Trapcode Suite.
Each tentacle is then animated in a wavy loop with the help of the "progressive wave effect".
