In wake of the 2016 Rhode Island logo re-brand, I thought I would give branding my surrogate home town a shot. I wanted to bring back some of the art deco styling of downtown providence while reflecting RI's heritage as a nautical, New England town. Rhode Island has beautiful and history-rich lighthouses; when I think about my time living in Providence, I think about the glare from the water against the bustling backdrop of an artistic and culturally rich state.
