California Tourism Logo

A logo concept I illustrated for a tourism client. Inspired by culture and rooted in tradition, this logo represents the history and people of this city. The design was inspired by Mexican "papel picado," the bright-colored perforated paper banners used for decoration during Mexican holidays and celebrations. The illustrations depict things essential to the town: City Hall, the vineyards, the surrounding nature such as the fields of California poppies, the hispanic culture that is shared by many of the residents.
