BeerSpectrum Wireframe #1

Ok guys, finally had some time on the bus to sketch out an initial wireframe. full view here. The thought behind this is a simple one--we arrange all the beers we know about (and allow users to add more) according to simple spectrums, IBU, ABV, and primarily color. Then, the "find" section functions like a screening tool. All beers are laid out on the color spectrum, (the Y axis) and the user gets to choose what the X axis means (currently set to IBU) The user can manipulate the width of the 'window' of beers they want to see, and those are then displayed in the results area below. The user can also mouse over all the beers in the spectrum to get a quick preview. (the bridgeport hopup).

Haven't totally thought through what data we should collect for each beer, but I was hoping that the community would edit the info too, (typedia style) to fill in the holes.

Anyway, its rough, a work in progress...but what do you think?
