All American Football League

All American Football League is a professional football league with headquarters in Atlanta and owning a market presence in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Michigan, Tennessee and Texas. The AAFL plays its games in the spring, filling a huge void in football fans' schedules and all players are required to be college graduates.

My task was to create a strong and recognizable symbol that would also be versatile as it was meant to appear on many items including stationery, posters, banners, clothing and other sports equipment. The goal was to attract more players and contribute to college graduation rates improvement, to secure higher quality partnerships and to expand acquiring additional new markets.

My solution was a visual ensemble based on a perfect blend between a football helmet and the American flag. Also the negative white space in the center is shaped like a football.
