Frederiksborg Slot fountain

The fountain and courtyard in front of Frederiksborg Castle.

The fountain contains a figure of the roman god Neptune on top, with more figures and details along a central pillar, and is placed in the center of the courtyard in front of the castle. The figures on the fountain was remade after the originals were stolen by the Swedes during the Swedish wars in the 17th century. The original ones can now be found at Drottningholm Palace near Stockholm.
