Workflow Designer Dashboard

Let me preface this description by saying that the fleet management space isn't the most sexy to work in, especially for a designer. However I'd be lying if I said that the challenges it brings aren't interesting. Being the only designer on the team makes things way more harder because it always feels like on top of explaining why you made a specific design decision, you also needed to do your best to sell it (and you may still get put down, badly).

This shot basically shows the workflow designer at work. You'll notice that I made use of Google Material's stepper component for this section of the product. Reason why I opted for the component is that there was too much stuff on-screen at the same time for the user to interact with, rather than just view (which is what a dashboard is usually most used for, viewing). Hence, dividing each necessary action that a user had to make into multiple logical steps made the experience that much more helpful, rather than just throwing everything at you.
