Marwa

A portrait I did of and for my friend Marwa. I’ve worked on and off on this piece for ages. It was originally more colourful (as you’ll see in the last image). I always wanted to improve it but was super limited by my skills at the time. This year I had another go redoing it with more sophistication. New lighting,more mood, I incorporated the death-head moth imagery into it more by using the same patterning from the wings on her face. I like it much better now.
