Haskell

The symbol and the wordmark proposal for a programming language called Haskell, a part of the community effort to rebrand the language back in 2009.

Haskell is a functional programming language and it is built on something called the lambda calculus. This is the primary reference captured by the symbol, which is an A in a shape of Greek λ.

It did not get picked, this one did instead. In fact, mine came in 22nd beaten by a narval drawing done - what seemed like - in MS Paint... lol... Geeks judging a design contest -- didn't enter with much hope anyways :) The winning logo is great though, I really like it.
