Beer!

This week marks the beginning of fall (or "fall" for all of us in the south), and I can't tell you how excited I am about my favorite season starting up. So, I'm kicking off a little series for the next couple of days to document reasons why fall is the best.

Reason number one: Beer.

Need I say more?

Although I get the feeling that pumpkin beer is the joke of the brewing community, it's got all the flavor I love. I'm not a heavy-wheat drinker, and the end of summer marks the end of all those light-bodied beers that belong at the bottom of swimming pools. Now, the darker, more robust beers enter the spotlight, and let's face it, they are the best.
