However, its classic splash screen feels cold and lonely, especially today, which is the Mid-Autumn Festival (Simplified Chinese: 中秋节) in China. This festival is associated with the full moon on this night. We celebrate family and friends gathering at this day because it's said the moon is the brightest and roundest on this day which means family reunion. We give thanks for the harvest and hopes for a good future. Thus I feel it would be cool to create a mid-autumn festival edition splash screen for WeChat.
